The Treehouse Project Update – 41 Residences Under Contract

The construction of The Treehouse is progressing rapidly as Autumn winds down here in Stowe, VT. As the leaves steadily fall & cooler temperatures arrive, the anticipation of another exciting winter season is setting in. With only 7 of the 48 residences remaining on the market, we are pleased to provide monthly updates on this exciting new addition to the Spruce Peak Community.

Spruce Peak Real Estate is excited to announce the completion of the first residence within The Treehouse. This residence, a three-bedroom flat, is now fully completed & equipped with the impressive offerings from our Vermont Scheme Homeowner Furnishing Guide, in partnership with TruexCullins interior design. “From the onset we’ve talked about ‘What does it feel like to be in a treehouse?’”, says Kim Deetjen, Principal at TruexCullins. “It’s really driven the concept from, literally, the outside in.”

The installation of exterior stone siding, pathways, timber framing elements have created a comprehensive feel of the project, from approach to entering the first finished residence. “Befitting of a treehouse we looked at bark, cedar, and combined those elements together with the building”, says John Ashworth, Principal at Bull Stockwell Allen, the architectural firm who led the design of The Treehouse. “We also took the color forest green, and integrated that both inside & out.” This choice of color is featured prominently in each gourmet and fully electric kitchen within The Treehouse.
